Content is king on the internet. And Women Drummers International features great content. In consultation with the website’s owner, I worked on re-organizing the content, or what is known as Information Architecture. (Read more at Wikipedia.org) The current navigation and sub-navigation structure showcases my work.
Born To Drum Camp has been well documented over the years and the photos show just how enjoyable it was for both the overnight and day campers. I have worked on resizing and optimizing the photos, and also arranging the photos to tell a story. For example I used visual cues including the following:, the type of drum, the quality of light and the specific teacher with their drum circle. Also, a contrasting image was inserted between these groupings to provide visual relief and signal the start of a new theme. Please click on a link for each gallery listed below and take a look.
